Leave the skin-showing for the alligators. Believe it or not, you can still be sexy while leaving something to the imagination. With all of the runway shows going on people want to wear the super short skirts and the navel showing outfits. However, at a holiday party you might want to be more conservative. Now, that's not to say that you can't show a little skin. If you have great legs then a skirt with a slit would be appropriate, or if you have really great arms then you would want to show them off with a halter style top. The main thing is to show off your best features. For example, if you are too insecure to show skin then could show off great cleavage with a vintage necklace that hangs low, or a lacy top under a velvet blazer. Either way, be sexy not sleazy.
